Say hello to your new friend ‘green.’ Green is part of the “in crowd,” and we are happy to share with you all the ways eco-friendly choices are making their way to our products–and into your home. Our company values sustainability, which is why we partner with Hunter Douglas for their stylish, high-quality window coverings. We bring them to you because they are not only top-notch, but they also care about responsible production and materials. If you are looking for sustainable window coverings, look no further. Let’s see what’s on offer.
Consumer Savings
One of our top priorities is working within your budget. We have products in all ranges, even sustainable window coverings. Our focus is to share the savings with you through the installation of sustainable blinds, drapes, and more. Energy efficiency is one reason people choose this style of window treatment, from keeping the home temperature regulated in summer and winter to blocking pesky UV rays. Insulation for the home can be surprisingly cost-effective with the right window coverings installed, such as Duette Honeycomb shades. You don’t have to compromise a beautifully crafted design for eco-friendly window treatments.
Duette® Honeycomb Shades
More features you can enjoy with this style of window covering are natural light which will bring warmth and joy to your space. You can decide how much light comes in with light control using sheer shades, for instance. You may also want to try some motorized blinds that let some light in without compromising privacy for your space. Just these few adjustments can be surprisingly cost-effective while letting you keep the home looking and feeling comfortable.
Designer Banded Shades
If you have not considered these in the past, you might want to now. Hunter Douglas offers motorized blinds for convenience and an eco-friendly approach to sustainable window coverings. With a rechargeable battery wand, you can shift the automated shades into position with scheduled times on an app or smart home device. Consider the power you have to save money and keep your home covered at the tips of your fingers!
Sustainable Production
We strive to hold the highest standards in manufacturing practices around sustainability. Hunter Douglas has gone above and beyond to be GREENGUARD Gold certified for low chemical emissions. This means window covering products follow a process of testing that is thorough and rigorous. It means for you, our customer, you get safer indoor air and fewer health risks when using our products. We hope you will feel confident and comfortable in using our products in your home while also knowing we keep working to achieve green builder ratings.
Parkland Wood Blinds
Hunter Douglas loves the sustainable window coverings that manage natural resources efficiently. Parkland Wood Blinds are harvested from forests with high sustainability practices. They come in 50+ color choices with wood stains and solid paint color style choices. With every purchase, a donation is made to the Arbor Day Foundation. Safety, quality products, and sustainability are all priorities for our company.
Renewable Resources
Recycled materials are here to stay. That is, at least with our products. We work with recycled aluminum for metal blinds, fabrics made from recycled ocean plastics, and work to ensure the environment is a top priority. Our collections include selections with 50% recycled materials. Think about the Provenance Woven Woods we offer, made from woven fibers that are considered rapid growth renewable resources. Our dedication to you is to use resources wisely so we can have less negative impact on the environment.
