Control Options
Manual Cordless Shades
Many of our window shades are available with a manual cordless system called LiteRise. This operating system is an Ontario favorite for child-safe window coverings. The bottom rail is pushed and pulled gently to make adjustments to the cordless shades. This system of cordless shades is available for roman shades, roller shades, cellular shades, woven shades and some sheer shade options.
Cordless Motorized Options
The premier automation system from Hunter Douglas, PowwerView Automation, offers the clean, tidy–and safe–convenience of cordless motorized shades. Use your phone or the remote to make instant adjustments. Saved settings can offer “scene control” and scheduled adjustments. These child-safe window coverings are an ideal choice for a safe home environment.
Another motorized option for cordless window shades, the SoftTouch system offers a wand that rests alongside the window. This wand uses gentle nudges to make adjustments to the cordless shades. As an added safety feature, the wand is connected with a strong magnet, which can disconnect in the event of being pulled too hard to protect the shades and your little ones.
Cordless Blinds
Outdated window blinds are known for the dangling, dangerous cords that hung down along the sides of windows for decades. Today’s innovations have removed the dangerous cords from blinds, offering safe ways to operate them. Depending on the type of window blinds you choose, you will have varying options for control. More importantly, the safety also lies within securing the window blinds in place.
